Southwest Side Story

My poor mother-in-law is smack in the middle of a series of ice storms in good ole' Arkansas. Thousands are without electricity and the whole place is just plain frozen over.

"Oh it's ok, I'm just sleeping down at the Hospice center and things will clear up real soon".

Bless her heart!

So I thought it might be the perfect time to remind people why we live here and invite her to come back.


This is the view from my back door. It's 63 degrees outside. The sun is shining and our little world is basking in it. Aaaaahhhh ~

Update: It is now 71 degrees:)
