Dear Summer -
Today, I heard that you were leaving. I have to admit that my first reaction was "it's about time!" I just don't perspire well, I'm sure you understand. Sweating just isn't for everyone. Some people actually look visually enhanced with a bead of moisture across their brow creating a bronzed glow. I, however, look dazed and soggy.
But I want you to know that I look forward to seeing you again. Without you, we simply would not enjoy Big Surf, the lake, those wonderful Monsoon evenings or even a good snow cone. You've always been there for me and I look forward to seeing you again.

Apparently, it was Jake (yes- your Jake) that placed the snake in the tent, that is the rumor at least- what a Boy Scout. Chase would have screamed like a chick!
I am so glad they are having fun.
I was wrong- it was a tarantula that was placed in the tent-- by Jake :) No snake in the tent- thank goodness!
The only thing I have to say is I Love Flagstaff (of course until the snow comes and stays for 5 months!)

went to the Rim this weekend, i might have to say it was so nice and cool, i think i'm ready for fall but will miss the swimming and a little color to my skin..
I do agree. I think summer has overstayed its welcome. Move on in Fall!!
I want our summer to STAY! I'll take your winter though.
I love Fall...it's my favorite season. The colors, the cooler weather (or is that our summer, I can't tell the difference).
Whatever you do please don't wish for winter! I would rather burn in your sun then freeze in our snow! :)
