Arrogant authority makes me mad -

I remember when I was in the sixth grade. I had my tonsils out and it all went bad. I hemorrhaged and had to get back to the hospital. My Dad got me there very quickly and I remember seeing the red lights that he disregarded to get me there.

Sometimes, we are emergency vehicles. Sometimes, it is imperative that we use our own judgment as we verify the safety of those around us.

This story makes me furious ... and I would have done exactly the same thing.

“Hey, that’s the nurse,” the Plano officer told Powell. “She said that the mom’s dying right now, and she’s wanting to know if they can get him up there before she dies.”

“All right,” Powell replied. “I’m almost done.”

Idiot.

Amen! I just watched it and couldn't believe it! I think I would have just gone into the hospital and let him tow the vehicle. And wasn't he trying to explain the situation as the officer was telling him to shut up?! JERK!!!

I couldn't believe that guy either! That is unforgiveable! that poor family, what a nightmare for them. That policeman demonstrated the worst kind of abuse of power and has no right to be a police officer!

Yeah I watched that on the news last night - my jaw was on the floor the whole time. Can you believe that?!?! Absolutely pathetic.

I know this really urked me.

I am still laughing out loud from the fart post. Why was I even laughing? Probably partly because I just laugh @ things like that but mostly because as I read it I could almost hear you telling it to me in person. You're awesome! We were not allowed to say the fart growing up and I still have a hard time saying it for some reason.

P.S. - The fence looks great.
