You're looking at the only Junior linebacker who made the Varsity football team ... this morning! Could this summer be any more exciting? I say ... no!

CONGRATULATIONS KEATON....... When do the games start? love, grandma Shaker
I don't know if thats good or bad! lets just say hopefully he will get some playing time! we found it was better if they stayed on Juniors back when our boys were there, cause they got to play the whole game, it seems like when you are bumped up to varsity you do allot of standing on the sidelines.. hopefully things have changed but what a great complement for him, what a go! can't believe its that time all ready...
I know what you mean, Chris. We've gone back and forth with that because he has played offense and defense in every game up until now and has been in practically the whole game. The only problem is, he's NEVER been on a winning team. He can play his heart out, but ends up losing anyway. This will probably be his only shot at being on a winning team, and he says that that will be worth cheering on the sidelines. They should have a good shot at State this year.
I'm a wife to one (obvi), mother to five (amazing kids), and grandma to five (my reward for putting up with the aforementioned amazing kids). A Shaker's life is always hopping. We do everything spontaneously because, let's face it, it will all change 14 times from the original plan ... which is just like life!! So we learn a lot of life lessons around here, and I think I should write them down somewhere in an effort to not repeat stupid. This is my blog.
