Ok, I've moved past the bad luck that we had at the end of our trip. It's time to focus on what fun we had during it all. Thanks to Heather, it was a perfectly choreographed weekend full of great food, explosive water bottle rockets, colorful bead stringing, fantastic weather, beautiful scenery and one awesome family. My pictures don't do it justice and I always miss somebody, but this gives a glimpse of what hopefully other cameras will supplement.
Favorite quote of the weekend ...
My Dad: "Reilly, what's that?"
Reilly: "That's deer poop, Grandpa!"

OH SO FUN! I have been waiting for someone to post some pics. Thanks! I am still sad that we didnt make it. Love the quote too. =)
Hey Karen, I just discovered your blog after my daughter, Amy told me Chris had a blog. Small world, huh? I'm so glad other women my age are blogging. (I just started one too) It's so fun to catch up so quickly. It was great talking to you the other day. Sounds like your trip, like your life, was one big adventure! Glad you're all in one piece. (Hey when did you turn into such an optimist?) :)
my blog address is: gailandsteve.blogspot.com, in case you're interested.

Love the pictures Karen. I want to look at them again in a bigger format. Mac's laptop is so small I couldn't really appreciate the details of the scenery. Hope you are having a good weekend. Love you. Julie
